As a part of cooperation with SMTI and SMAK, also with CIET Ministry of Industry, on March 2013 VAPRO held two workshops: Workshop in the field of Chemical Analyst and Workshop in the field of Industrial Chemistry.

Workshop in the field of Chemical Analyst was held in SMK Analis Kimia SMAK Bogor at 14 – 16 March 2013. This workshop attended by around 20 participants from several SMAK and SMTI, namely SMAK Bogor, SMAK Makassar, SMTI Makassar, SMTI Tanjung Karang, SMTI Padang, SMTI Pontianak, and SMTI Banda Aceh. In this workshop, we discussed the development of curricula for Chemical Analyst, and also other aspects to prepare the students of SMAK and SMTI for a job of Chemical Analyst in industries.

Workshop in the field of Industrial Chemistry was held in SMK SMTI Yogyakarta at 26 – 28 March 2013. This workshop attended by around 20 participants from several SMTI, namely SMTI Yogyakarta, SMTI Makassar, SMTI Tanjung Karang, SMTI Padang, and SMTI Pontianak. Aim of this workshop is to discuss the development of curricula for Industrial Chemistry, and also other aspects to prepare the students of SMTI for a job of process operator in industries.

The results of these workshops will be implemented by each SMAK and SMTI, in order to improve the schools based on competences and specialization, and meets with the labor demand from industries.
